2. Data we collect

Through the contact form: name, company, business email, telephone (optional), service of interest, location or port (optional) and message. We ask visitors not to include sensitive personal data in the message.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies on this website. See the Cookies Policy.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Responding to your enquiry and, where requested, preparing a proposal: legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and, where applicable, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.f and 6.1.b GDPR).

Managing a resulting business relationship: performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR).

We do not send marketing communications based on form submissions. If this is introduced, a separate, optional consent will be requested.

4. Recipients and processors

Data is not sold or transferred to third parties except where legally required.

Service providers acting as processors: website hosting provider and, once activated, the transactional email provider used to deliver form enquiries to GMS — provider details pending final configuration. Corporate email is managed through Google Workspace.

Where an enquiry requires coordination with partners in GMS's network, we will inform you before sharing information needed for that purpose.

5. International transfers

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. Specific provider details are pending final confirmation.

6. Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship, and thereafter blocked for the periods required to address possible legal liabilities. Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted when no longer needed. Specific retention periods are pending confirmation.

7. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and, where applicable, data portability by writing to comercial@globalmaritimes.net, indicating the right you wish to exercise. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) if you consider that your rights have not been respected.

8. Security

GMS applies reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission, server-side validation and access restricted to personnel who need the information to respond.
